이번 갤러리단디 9월 기획전 에서는 긴 시간 불과 역경의 시간으로 일구워진 무유소성 기법을 사용한 도예가 김대웅 이기호 작가의 반반전을 선보입니다.  우리나라 고유 전통을 기반한 도예다구 작품을 통해  차(茶)와 도예의 문화를 함께 감상 하실 수 있는 자리를 마련하였습니다.

단국 대학원에서 도예과를 전공한 김대웅 작가의 작업들은 통가마를 사용하여 원시적의 불을 추구하며, 그 속에선 통큰 생각, 통큰 손결과 무심결이 빚어 낸 무유 번조의 미학으로 찻그릇의 숨결을 느끼게 합니다. 

서울과학기술 대학원에서 산업공예(도예전공)을 전공하였고, 현재는 황제요를 운영하는 이기호 작가는 도제에서 일탈을 느끼고 싶어 손의 역할을 의도적으로 바꿔 비정형화된 선을 만들어 끊임없는 변화를 모색하는 도예가 입니다. 

갤러리 단디는 전문 공예갤러리로 , 금속, 도자, 유리, 목공예, 섬유 등 공예 전 분야에 걸친 다양한 경향의 수준있는 작품을 소개하고, 쓰임을 바탕으로 한 예술작품의 가치를 전시를 통해 전하고자 합니다. 

The September Exhibition of Gallery Dandy will show fifty-fifty exhibition of ceramist Kim Dae Ung and Lee Ki Ho who use Muyusoseong technique made up of the fire and the time of adversity for a long time. The exhibition will provide the palce where you cloud appreciate the tea and the culture of ceramics through artwork of ceramic teaware which is based on Korean tradtion.

 

The work of artist Kim Dae Ung who is majored in ceramics at Dankook University seek the primeval fire using a kiln. And it make we feel the breath of teacup with aesthetic of Muyubeonjo which is created by the broad-idea, texture of hand and the unconscious in them.

 

The artist Lee Ki Ho who is majored in industrial craft (ceramics major) at University of Science and Technology Center, Seoul and managing a Hwangjeyo now is a ceramist who seek constant change as making unstructured line with change the role of hand on purpose to feel deviation from an apprenticeship.

 

Gallery Dandy is a specialty craft gallery and we will try to introduce the high quality artwork of various tendency across in all field of craft that is using metal, ceramics, glass, wood, fiber, etc and communication a value of the artworks based on use through an art exhibition.
