Making The Invisible Visible
Throughout my artistic journey, I have been preoccupied with the connections between identity, nature, and humanity. I have also felt the need for a transformative paradigm based on patterns we have encountered throughout history. My work can be seen as a journey centered on these themes.
This exhibition combines two different series. On the one hand, there are women artists who have been deliberately ignored throughout art history. They have been labeled not as artists, but as “women artists,” and have not received the respect or equal evaluation they deserve. On the other hand, there are communities and peoples with thousands of years of ancient knowledge that are ignored by 21st-century people living in an age of extinction, environmental disasters, and ecosystems destroyed by human hands, as well as a corrupt concept of social justice. Their voices are not heard, and their wisdom is neither valued nor preserved.
Through my exhibition, I aim to reveal these two invisible sides and, in doing so, be instrumental in creating a transformation in our thinking and feelings. A wish for a better, peaceful world and generations with a regenerative perspective…
