[CICA 미술관 작가 공모] 현대 미술 작가 개인전 시리즈
CICA 미술관에서 현대작가를 선정하여 개인전 시리즈 및 출판을 통해 관객과 소통할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고자 합니다. 선정된 작가는 CICA 미술관에서 일주일간 개인전을 하게 되며 약 44m2 (12평)의 전시 공간이 주어집니다. 작가 및 작품 소개는 e북 “CICA Art Now #3”에 수록되며, 아마존에서 판매 예정입니다. 서적은 프린트 버전으로 주문 제작 가능합니다.

*참가방법
-간단한 자기소개 및 이력과 포트폴리오를 cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com으로 보내주세요.
-이메일의 제목 란에 “Submission: Contemporary Art Solo Show – 작가 이름 (영어/한글)”이라고 적어주세요.
-포트폴리오 형식: 디지털 이미지, 영상 링크, 또는 온라인 포트폴리오 링크
– 이미지는 JPG 형식으로 최대한 10장까지 보내실 수 있습니다. 한 이미지 당 100-700 킬로바이트 이내를 권장합니다.
– 영상 작품의 경우 Youtube 또는 Vimeo 등 영상 사이트에 업로드 하신 후 링크를 공유해 주세요. 영상 및 웹 아트는 최대한 3작품까지 보내실 수 있습니다.
*대용량 ZIP 파일 및 영상 파일은 받지 않습니다.
*당선된 작가는 50만원의 전시 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.

Call for Artists: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series
CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the Contemporary Art Solo Show Series and the publication. Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition for a week in the gallery space (around 44m2). The artists will be also featured in the the e-book, “CICA Art Now #3,” which will be available via Amazon. The printed version will be available by order.

– Photography
– Sculpture and Installation Art
– Performance
– Video & New Media Art
*Timeline:
January 20, 2018: Close submissions
January 28 – Feburary 10, 2018 Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
Between June 2018 and December 2018: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series
February 1, 2019: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now #3”
*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 10 JPG portfolio images (100-700 kilobytes per image recommended) and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: Contemporary Art Solo Show – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.
If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $500 (USD). The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.
