관훈 갤러리는 수년간 작가공모전을 진행해 오고 있으며, 이를 통해 역량 있는 신진 작가를 발굴 해 왔습니다. 작가들의 다양하고 독창적인 작품 세계를 갤러리 기획전과 국내외 아트페어를 통해 미술시장에 선보여 왔으며, 앞으로 더욱 적극적으로 비전 있는 한국 현대미술을 제시하고 계속해서 국제 미술시장의 흐름에 발맞추어 나갈 것입니다. 다양한 장르의 참신하고 역량 있는 신진작가 분들의 많은 관심과 참여 부탁 드립니다.

‘ARTISTS OPEN CALL 2013’
Kwanhoon gallery is asking for your participation in its annual arts competition, ‘ARTISTS OPEN CALL2013’.
The competition was established to help and promote not only Korean but also international artists with support and recognition. Kwanhoon gallery has been one of major art galleries in Korea, promoting emerging and established artists in various genres and different media since 1979 in an artistic and traditional main district of Seoul, South Korea. Encouraged and talented individuals are welcome to apply.

Title: “ARTISTS OPEN CALL 2013’
Apply Date : DEC. 15 – 29, 2012
Qualification: All artists, born after the year of 1970
Genre: Painting, Drawing, Edition (Print& Photography, Sculpture), Installation, Video/ Moving Images, etc.
Award: Solo or Group Exhibition at the gallery and promotional print material support.

Winner Notification:
Winners of the initial reviewing will be noted on 16 January 2013 through our website.
Final winners will be selected after our curatorial committee’s visit to studios.
